[01.27~31 2020 Excel&Words Class]

Kangwon National University – The Third Batch of KNU-KOICA SP students participated the Special Course on Basic Microsoft Office Excel and Word Program initiated by the scholarship office from January 27 to 31, 2020.

The five-day special course was conducted to enhance the knowledge and understanding of SP students on the basic and necessary MS Office functions and operations particularly Excel and Word Programs in preparation for the data organization and analysis, and eventually for thesis writing.

“ MS Office Excel and Word are the most basic and necessary programs for successful coursework. I offered the same course last year and I realized that not all students have the basic knowledge about the program. So, learning the program will be advantageous and useful for students especially when they start to write their thesis. ” said Course Professor Sang Min Lee.

He emphasized the importance of student’s active class participation in order to learn more about the program. He also mentioned that he runs a youtube channel where students may visit for additional instructional video materials related to the course.
